If you can’t get to our farm on the days we are open, contact us and we’ll work something out. Perhaps you could place an order and collect it from our red van at the Fyshwick Fresh Food Markets. Chestnuts are usually available until late June– perfect for Christmas in July celebrations.

Chestnuts are versatile and can be used in sweet or savoury recipes, or can be eaten on their own as a healthy snack. There are lots of recipes available online at  Chestnuts Australia Inc.

Cooked chestnuts may be frozen so you can always have some handy for soups, to puree, to toss through pasta or to make a chestnut stuffing- perfect preparation for Christmas festivities.
